Zodiac Rabbitry Sales Policy
HOLDING
- Rabbits may be reserved by paying a 50% deposit.
- All balances on deposits are due a minimum of 30 days or agreed upon time (in writing).
- Balances not paid by the due date will be released from hold and the deposit forfeited.
 GUARANTEE
- Rabbits are healthy at the time of sale, showing no signs of:
- disease
- diarrhea
- nasal or eye discharge
- malocclusion
- broken bones
- any other defects unless otherwise stated
- We will replace or refund rabbits that become sick and die within 14 days of purchase.
- You must deliver to us the left ear of the rabbit that died in order to receive a refund or replacement
- If a rabbit is missexed, we will take back the rabbit and replace with a rabbit of the appropriate sex (based on availability).
- Bred Does - We will breed mature does for you free of charge. We do not consider a doe truly "bred" until we have palpated her and found embryos in the uterus. For this reason, we suggest you wait to pick up a bred doe until we have verified her to be pregnant.
We DO NOT...
- Replace rabbits that exhibit malocclusion after 4 months of age.
- Reimburse you for any vet bills you incur on your rabbits.
- Refund or replace a rabbit that has gotten ill after 14 days in your possession. (Illnesses subsequent to the 14 day guarantee period are a result of the current environment.)
- Guarantee the fertility of the rabbit. (Our rabbits are good breeders, however environment and other factors affect breeding readiness and fertility which is beyond our control.)
- Guarantee the temperament of the rabbit. (We will never sell a rabbit defined as vicious; however, sexual maturity may increase aggressive behavior in some rabbits.)
- Guarantee a live litter on bred does. (Kindling problems - though rare, do occur. We have no control over the doe's circumstances once she is in your possession.)
- Board rabbits. (Our cage space is at a premium.)
